EVERYBODY HATES MITCH ALBUM RELEASE

Southeast San Diego, CA rapper Mitchy Slick presents the Niko Alexzander-directed music video for "Keep Gettin Money", the new single from Everybody Hates Mitch, Mitchy's new collaboration album with Central Valley, CA producer Sir Veterano. The "Money" visual comes on the heels of music videos for Everybody Hates Mitch singles "Dago Nights" (watch the music video) and "In My El Co" (watch the music video). Making its mark heavily in a micro-genre Sir Veterano coins "sweaterfunk", the album features guest appearances from E-40 (stream "Klack You Out" on Spotify) as well as Jay Worthy (stream "Name In They Mouth" on Spotify), Ise B, Deltrice, Bosko, 2die4 and Silky Slim. San Diego rap stalwart Mitchy is CEO of Wrongkind Records, a familial collective of rappers, deejays and artists (watch the music video for "Imperial" featuring OsoOcean). Mitchy is a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, along with rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. In 2021 Mitchy released 23 Blocks (stream the album on Spotify). In the past he's collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and The Game, whose Documentary 2.5 featured three guest shots from Mitchy. In 2021 Sir Veterano released The Gathering (stream on Spotify), featuring MC Eiht and Ras Kass, which was followed up by All Hail The King, his collab album with Fresno, CA emcee Fashawn (stream on Spotify). California emcee Murs & Texas beatsmith Wiardon present "Flowers For Guru", a 7/17 birthday dedication to late Gang Starr emcee Guru and the lead single from the forthcoming deluxe edition of Murs & Wiardon's speak n spell EP, which adds several unreleased cuts as well as remixes from ProducerTrentTaylor and Balt Getty. The original version of the EP dropped last spring, spearheaded by the "Starting Lineup" single featuring Larry June and ICECOLDBISHOP (stream on Youtube). Murs is a trailblazer of first the West Coast then the global underground hiphop scene, going from selling cassettes of his music around the world with Living Legends to releasing albums with Warner Music Group, Def Jux, Rhymesayers, Strange Music and Dame Dash to name just a few. On October 13, 2016, Murs set a Guinness World Record for rapping for 24 hours non-stop during a live stream on Twitch. At age 16, Austin-based rapper/producer Wiardon broke wide on the music scene at age 16 with his debut release NUMBA1VIKTIM which took Soundcloud by storm. Bay Area, CA beatsmith Dream Ear presents "West Side", his new single featuring Mistah F.A.B. and Too $hort. Austin, Texas rapper Absolute presents "Paper Chasing", the self-produced first single from his forthcoming album I Am Absolute. "Paper Chasing" comes on the heels of his recent single "Where You Wanna Be", which appears on Volume 1 of his mixtape series The Reaper.
