What does it mean to be an underdog? What does it mean to be slept on? Avery Harden (@averyhardhiphop) was recently referred to us @rareflavr to feature in our next artist snapshot , and we had the chance to go over his new project, Atlantis , the main theme of Atlantis, his current relationships in music, and overall process.
At RareFlavr we are constantly seeking more music, talent and hardworking artists who are constantly developing their craft and have established themselves in music of all genres. Luckily we were introduced to another talented artist online Avery Harden. Thank you for tuning in to RareFlavr!

Avery Harden (@averyhardhiphop) Nevada native, now residing in Los Angeles, California has been making music and developing his game over the years and has now released his 11th project —-truly a Hustle-Grind to accomplish that! As far as his music process, we learned more in detail of how this project came together and his overall process. He mentioned ,
“Beats are always first for me, I’ll search through what people send me. And I also go out looking sometimes. And the Collabs happen with the people I work super close with I pick the beat that would fit them best! We have a studio we are continuing to build in La Mirada, California we just stated the beginning of this year, before that we were in home studios or renting out hotels and recording in rooms… The writing process happens wherever inspiration develops honestly it’s not one particular place.”
The Studio is called, "Meditateabovmoon Studios”:

“The studio name came from our collective so a couple of the guys on the project are my partners who own the studio with me:
Drivinchi - is meditative mindstate media
I’m ABOV- (a bunch of visionaries)
Issac Lawrence - is moon (masters of our now)

So once we learned how the project was made, we found out more about the Project itself,

“The underdog concept is because I feel like I’m still being slept on. Humbly I’m super talented and hardworking, but I still feel like it gets over looked!”
At one-point or another we all can relate to being an underdog- which is important in society to continue to challenge yourself and grow as an artist, person, and in life. This is truly a strong body of work. In particular the metaphors, delivery, and story line of this project makes it an all-around solid body of work. This EP features 7 tracks, all with impressive transitions and easy-listening capabilities with some surprises.

AVERY HARDEN ATLANTIS
As of Currently, Avery is working with a known independent label called “undercoverprodigy” and working to get signed through them. He currently works with the label and learning things about the industry and get to know one of his inspirations HOPSIN more. Jammie the label president, his been a major influence in setting the stage for Avery and gaining insights.
We asked how the relationships all began and forming with Undercover Prodigy,
“I actually been a fan (of Hopsin) since like 2011, they were looking for extras in his Crown Me video in 2012. From there I just made it a priority to know Jammie she was his assistant at the time I just made sure she always knew who I was and remembered my face. Time passed I kept getting invited and Hop started noticing me and late last year Jammie popped the question if I wanted to help out on the label working under her I did not hesitate and from there I’ve been building a relationship with everyone there. “ - Avery Harden
What have you learned from theses experiences?
“I have a different mindset when it comes to this music thing, I’m all about my fans! Idc about any other artist that are rocking with me I’m here to Please the fans and the fans only. I would encourage anyone to cherish their fans just as much as the music”
